Wine tasting, membership subs, Gill netting in the Estuary
The survey by IFCA about the legalising of gill netting within the Kingsbridge/Salcombe Estuary ends on January 19th. Any members wishing to make their views known should follow the advice given in the December 2023 newsletter which you will have received by email. The newsletter is also available on www.kebc.co.uk under whats on/club newsletters.
On Wednesday January 17th, at the Regal Pub in Kingsbridge, Barrel and Still will be hosting a wine tasting evening. 7pm for 7.30 as usual, nibbles will be available and members will be treated to a tasting of a number of wines. The event will cost £10 per person, payment to be made to Linda on the evening. Please let our events coordinator, Linda Lee, events@kebc.co.uk know how many of you are coming so that we have an idea of numbers. This event was well attended last year and enjoyed by members.
Your 2023 membership expired on December 31st, 2023, except for those that joined in the last quarter of the year. Many members have renewed their £15 subscription for 2024, thank you. Those that have not yet done so have until January 31st 2024 to make their payments; if you fail to do so we will assume that you have resigned your membership.
